The interactive app, First Phrases Lite, is designed for iPad, iPhone, and Mac and serves as an educational tool for toddlers and children with speech delays. It effectively aids those learning to construct two to three-word phrases or who are acquiring basic English vocabulary.

Within the app, users can engage with ten combinations of verbs and nouns, such as “eat the carrot” and “drive the train,” which promote both auditory and expressive skills. Furthermore, the app provides an effective context for introducing the article “the” within meaningful phrases.
